Scale & Cluster of Distributed Database
Cluster of Database Storage, or databases itself, can increases throughput of table records queries. The cluster uses realtime data replication.
There are two types of scaling.
- Scale Out
- Horizontal Scale
Scale Out is mainly used for non persistent data, and replication based cluster.
This method can increase throughput of transactions, if there are no locking point. But they exists in Relational Databases. Locking and Update records are bottleneck of the scalability.
Therefore it can increase throughput of queries.
Horizontal Scale is called Table Partitioning. It is method for database management system which has persistent data.
By using this method, updating records and locking row are done on other server nodes, by parallel execution. This is strong method for database to handle high transaction and big data.
